"The intention of the post was to bring up the point that people need to be more savvy..." We're talking about people who think Sarah Palin is savvy.

Obama seems to be having some unpositive feedback and guys from his side (LEFT) telling him is ad in misleading at best and lies at the worst. And you guys are still dwelling on Sarah.........she must scare the hell out of the left..........she's no longer in the picture.

The Mit Romney ad denigrating his life of vulture capitalism is true. That is why it stands.

The fact that there are people with the right to vote who think Sarah Palin should be president is scary, very, very scary. Heck Ted Nugent could be her running mate and I am guessing you would vote for that ticket David.

Come now Scott. You would vote for Kermit the Frog if he/it were running against the republicans.

I would too Clay, Kermit is green.

Dennis, President Obama had to play venture capitalist when even Bain capital wouldn't invest into GM and Chrysler. As far as Gov. Romney being a crook? is that in the ad? I don't think Romney is a crook, I just don't think his kind of business dealings would work in the government world. But then maybe they do, President Obama showed that it did, something Gov. Romney advised against. I guess that gives me my answer right there on who to vote for.

Anybody catch the interview last Friday of Gov. Romney when he was asked how he was going to cut government spending, and Gov. Romney said "We can't cut all government spending right away, that would hurt the economy." Seems he is talking about the same strategy as President Obama.

For a guy knocking Bain so much while on the campaign stump he just accepted $7500 from Bain and the current CEO is a major bundler for the Obama administration........guess some shoes fit, some don;t.

So does that mean he prefers President Obama over Gov. Romney? Or are they playing both sides contributing to both campaigns?

I think those companies have their place, but they pick winners and losers too, and it should only be part of Gov. Romney's resume, I don't know why he doesn't mention his time in the Mass. Governor's mansion more? (oh maybe it's the Romneycare health care reform) or his Salt Lake Olympics work?

Mel, Im talking about Solyndra and all these other green companies that are filing bankruptcy and going broke on the back of the taxpayers. Obama gave away tax money to his buddies, who then turned around and gave him contributions for his campaign. The GM and Chrysler thing, that was just plain theft, but now the unions own em and thats what Obama wanted. Ford did it on their own. If there was a corporate takeover like they did with GM and Chrysler ,in the private sector, people would go to jail.

Dennis, haven't done too much research on the GM and Chrysler thing, would like more of an explanation on how you think it was theft? Would like to hear more of what was the deal that the President gave the Unions. On it's face it sounds like if the unions own them, was it some of their pension fund money that helped prop them up along with the government? Employee owned? That doesn't sound that bad, seems to me they will make concessions with salary and such to make a profit. Did see that Ford supported the bail out as well, (as I understand it they would have been hurt too by all the parts suppliers going under if they didn't have GM and Chrysler as well as Ford and all the foreign manufactures building in the states).

If they gave the these people great deals, which I'm not if favor of, is it any different then the Halliburton's and companies that profited during the wars, companies that supported Bush and Chaney? What about those contributing to Gov. Romney's campaign, I'm sure they are expecting special favors. As far as Solyndra, I'm sorry to see them go bankrupt, do you have a number on all the others going bankrupt? Sen. Issa (R) who looked into the Solyndra issue, wanting to find something to bash the White House, concluded that there were no laws broken.

I am not a great supporter of government support to businesses, but I do believe it is done all across Europe, China of course, could we compete with the world on items the world could use if we don't support businesses somehow?

I know just more questions, not a lot of answers, but it seems I never really get answers to the questions I ask.
