    Greetings;

    I think this Administration is getting worse and worse. According to news reports a law was broken by the IRS. Lois Lerner still sticks to the Fifth Amendment. She does not fear the Attorney General, Eric Holder and she knows President Obama will do nothing.

    This John Koskinen, the Commissioner of the IRS I find to be extremely arrogant. They lie and cheat and look you right in the eye. I am no doubt computer illiterate but no way can all these emails be lost and or destroyed - that is the important ones. If you have been following you know exactly what I mean.

    Between 78 and 80% of the people believe the IRS is lying. This includes many Democrats as well as Independents.

    I did catch the segment on this on Stewart the other night, and he mentioned that Koskinen said their storage capacity for e-mails is so small, heck a G-mail account has a ton of more storage than what the IRS does. Now if that is true, it sounds like the government has failed to spend the money to upgrade systems, similar to the VA issue when everything was still on paper. (I remember the Stewart segment on that where they showed the level app in someone's smart phone was used to measure the amount of lean on a table loaded with VA files and Stewart noting the phone probably had enough storage space to hold all those files) Of course that is all satire and not sure how much truth there is to it. And of course Stewart also showed the NSA buildings which were able to hold all our information.

    While I agree some the IRS deal is troubling with lost e-mails (I still think they were doing their job and looked at both liberal and conservative groups trying to get tax exempt status), I want to know where the outrage was when the Bush administration had lost a bunch of e-mails. It is my opinion the outrage is all political. They spend so much time trying to create a political storm out of this issue and many others when they should find the truth the best they can and put in place new procedures to correct the issues moving forward. But I guess that doesn't sell ad space on all the talk TV and radio stations.

    From my politicians I want consistent, compromise and cut out the BS politics, in my opinion work to get something done. I wonder if the Republicans had worked or made the effort with the president on things, instead of fighting about everything, maybe we would really find out if President Obama is really incompetent or not. But in my opinion, how can I tell?

    Mel;

    Emails just don't vanish in the 21st.Century. One explosive email that just turned up was that Lois Lerner targeted GOP Senator Grassley from Iowa. She wanted to call him in for an audit for no apparent reason. You forgot to mention that the IRS has a 2.4 billion dollar budget so that they never experience this problem of missing emails.

    You fail to mention the head of the EPA having the same problem with emails disappearing. This guy even left the country maybe in Switzerland or some other country. They learn well from the IRS.

    I think you mentioned the VA in your reply - with the bonuses these doctors and others got was in the millions. So this concept of the Democratic party of giving more money when there is a problem just does not work. And, 80% of the VA is unionized and you can't fire anybody.

    You can go back to the 1st President of the USA and you won't find a more Inept, Corrupt, Wasteful, Subversive, Destructive, and Divisive President as we have today.

    Please don't talk about the Republicans working with the President. He and the Democratic Party want nothing to do with the Republicans.

    Capt.

    I at least remember the democrats working with President Bush during his ineptitude. Republicans basically told the country to screw themselves while they tried to make President Obama a one term president. When really they could have followed his lead and really found out if he was inept.

    Worst president, Andrew Jackson forcing the native americans (many peace-loving from history I've read) off their lands, of course we might not have as many casinos today if he hadn't done that.
