Now Keith, the republicans and voters won't remember their part in that. I'm sure the ads this fall won't either.
Not that Secretary of State Clinton and the administration deserve a pass; it appears everyone had a hand on what happened in Benghazi. And who's to say the attack wouldn't have happened even with a beefed up force? What numbers would they have needed to not be at risk?
As for Gov. Christie, I think the bridge issue itself is the tip of the iceberg and not really the big issue that is going to come out. For example Gov. Christie stood up against the federal dollars being offered for another tunnel which according to many is sorely needed, yet once he got his appointee for the Port Authority in charge, they ended up doing more projects that spent more money than the new tunnel would have cost NJ on their part. Not that I disagree with infrastructure spending, but I guess the bad deal is the political way he went to get what is best for Jersey. I guess the deal is too political for me, and the one change in infrastructure spending is the cost and benefit of the project, what benefits the most people. But we should wait until the whole deal is complete.
