I don't think any of us here, or anyone for that matter, could ever come close to accomplish what that peanut farmer from Georgia has accomplished.

It was nice being on the receiving end of those 19.5 rates. I found an old bond and bought a new sled

Just wait until Joe jumps into the race. The Democrats will be assured of a win, Hillary, of who I'm not a fan of, is venerable, if the Republicans get their act together and nominate a moderate (well as close to one that they can find out of that group).

But I don't know why we worry, according to the tin hat society (Larry, invest in that, might get a decent return), that Muslim in the White House will declare Marshall Law and we won't have an election.

By that reasoning Obama should get all the credit for our low gas prices, job growth, stock market and interest rates.

    I don't blame you, it's a complicated system.

if the Republicans get their act together and nominate a moderate (well as close to one that they can find out of that group). I guess McCain and Romney were way too conservative?

I guess I spelled it so poorly spellchecker couldn't even help me.

As I think about it now, I am surprised that they got the party's nomination, since in primaries it seems the more conservative candidates typically get the votes, it must be the blue states and the coastal states that propelled them to the nomination.

I blame McCain's loss squarely on Palin being put on the ticket, I thought about possibly voting for him, but after seeing Palin in action.....

I think in Romney's case it was partly his running mate, (both VP candidates seemed picked to encourage the base to vote in my opinion). And he had tacked so far to the right during the primaries, when he tried to move back to center, those middle of the road voters might not have believed him at that point. But hey I'm no political expert like Chuck Todd.
