Is everyone as tired of the lies about this thing as I am? This was Obama's baby when it was originally put together. It came from his team. Now it is the usual evil republicans that are going to cripple the world as we know it. The claims about the impact are flat out lies. We are not even looking at a decrease from 2012 in funds but merely a reduction in the rate of the increase. Can't a government agency live on an increase of 1.4% over last year? That is what it amounts to. How does that translate to laying off tons of air traffic controllers, shutting down food inspections, stopping border enforcement, cancelling all of these military government contracts, not being able to fuel carrier groups etc? How about if you morons in the presidency, senate and congress simply reduce your expenditures throughout government by the 2.6% and go about your daily business? The scare tactics are lies and unnecessary. This entire exercise shows they have no desire to ever reduce spending, necessary or unnecessary. They want to pay for all of these ideas with more taxes. Give me a break. All the golf courses I know would manage without missing a beat if they had their increased budget suddenly reduced to a 1.4% increase rather than a 4%. Most of us as well as our families have worked with real cuts that actually were less than not just the year before but sometimes 5 years before. Why do we elect these clowns. How about if we ignore our usual political sides and agree that we need to replace every last one of these idiots!
