The other day the Pope gave a speech. At no time did he say the governments should redistribute the wealth! The message was usual Christian brotherhood and sharing with those less fortunate. The press determined he said that governments should redistribute wealth and that was the emphasis of their reporting. Anyone reading the Popes words would think they heard two different ideas. CNN does a poll in which something like 17% wanted to keep ObamaCare as is and were happy with it with no changes. The headline, the majority want to keep ObamaCare the same and they like it. Rove questions if we should be given a complete report on Hillary's health due to her fall, blood clot etc. if she is to run for President. The media reports that Rove says Hillary has brain damage! Either they are incredibly stupid or you have to consider that just maybe the press has a bias in how they want us stupid minions to understand the news! It is funny how if we read the same thing that darn, we just may see things a little differently!

Rove used the words "traumatic brain injury" and you are parsing words over "brain damage"?

Scott, he didn't say she had it, he asked if we should know all the facts regrading what might have been. Something I think is fair to ask of any potential presidential candidate! After all they went back to Romney and high school to accuse him of being a bully! I think having a head injury that causes you major recovery time is a fair question nothing more nothing less. Because she is Hillary and a woman does not exempt her from scrutiny just like what should have been done with Obama. All questions should be asked of all candidated regardless ethnicity or gender.

I did not say anything about race or gender. What does that have to do with it?

The question of Gov. Romney being a bully didn't have anything to do with an accident or injury; it was more a question of his character.

Nobody questioned if President Bush had a brain injury when he was taken down choking on a peanut. Or if he had some brain function loss from his days as an alcoholic or coke head? When I think of some of his policies, maybe we should have questioned it?

If Secretary Clinton has some function or memory loss from her accident, it will show up on the campaign trail and we can make a decision then whether to vote for her or not. (I'm hoping both parties put up some better candidates then who are being mentioned currently).

    Hey Mel,
I guess since Obama admitted to doing all the things you just mentioned about Bush we should check and see if he has brain problems, and after listening to him continually saying "I found out from the news just like you" we should question it...

I can't believe how you are comparing apples and oranges. Rove felt it was fair game to check out a candidates health. That is all I said as well and it should be equal for every candidate! Character when you are a teenager? Mel, I certainly was not a saint and possibly a total jerk when I was growing up. Anyone on this forum that thinks they never did anything stupid as a teenager has themselves fallen on their head! Her fainting, having a concussion, needing coke bottle glasses for double vision and needing 6 months to recover is fair game and that is all that was stated. Scott, I said that it shouldn't matter who the candidate was the same questions should be asked. Don't tell me that the press hasn't protected Obama and Hillary. They were brutal with Bush to the point of passing on lies! He admitted many personal failures but certainly wasn't given a pass where Obama pretty much was. As Originally stated, equal treatment for all candidates is all that should be expected. Nothing wrong with it being tough!
