I want to add groomers to our current gms (3300 tf). Looking for comments from experience on how well they operate on the machine. Are they easily adjustable? Can you turn them on/off easily? What about after market groomers (R&R)???
    Thanks

We added counter-rotating groomer drives to our 3320 Tri-Flexes a few years ago. We don't run groomers on the drives but the Green's Perfection brushes, which we really like. I think Toro has updated the groomer kits now to the universal groomer, which can go the traditional direction, counter rotate, or not at all, so this info may be a little dated.

That said, the brushes are fairly easy to adjust and don't seem to move too often. Turning them off and on is just a matter of turning a switch on the drive side of the reel and is very easy. We are very happy with the drives and the brushes are excellent.

The only downside is that the bearing and seal on the non-drive side of the groomer seems to be a weak point. It is not overly time consuming or expensive to replace but we do have to keep an eye on them.
