This is a very good question with differing opinions .. Basically in a warranty an amp hour is equal to a mile so given an engine as a power plant in one system and a battery in another electric cars have life of lets say 20,000 amp hours.. (Some less, some more depending on the climate, maintenance , terrain etc..
On the horizon are the new lithium battery systems in the EZ GO RXV that have a life way past their 5 yr. warranty..
