I have a 1200 Hydro bunker rake and the crew says it was much faster a long time ago. After a new cable, ball joints, and pedal bushings I timed the machine at 3.882 MPH. The spec in the book is 3-4 MPH. I think they should be satisfied but they're still bitching. Does anybody know of a tweak for this machine Deere approved or not.
    Thanks in advance

Is the lever maxed out on the hydro pump when the pedal is forward?
The hydro filters on those used to become packed with plastic separating from the inside of the tank.
Installing a on/off valve for the front wheel motor (enabling a much faster 2wd transport) like some other brands of bunker rakes might be an option if no mechanical problems are found.
Personally, if someone bitched about something going too slow that was set at the recommended max speed I might tell them to f**k off.
