I have an older Greens King IV Plus where the front left cutting unit is very slow to engage. Each of the pumps are good (actually just replaced entire pump) and the valve banks are all in good shape. Just replaced several of the o-rings and seals to fix a couple very slow leaks in a couple of the valve banks. The front left cutting unit takes several seconds to engage once it drops. Sort of like the center reel is supposed to do. Any ideas on what I can do to rectify the problem?
    Thanks

If the center unit comes on the same time as the front right the problem is in the lines coming from the sequence valve under the seat.

No, the center reel is delayed (as it should be). The front left drops with the front right, but the reel does not start spinning for several seconds (5 or 6), making mowing quite a challenge. The other thing I noticed is that neither of the front reels will spin while the mow pedal is being depressed. So if you remove your foot from the mow pedal as soon as the front two reels are down, the front two reels will spin, but the center reel is not yet completely down. If you then press on the mow pedal to get the center one all the way down, the front reels stop spinning until you remove your foot from the mow pedal. Perhaps there is a problem with the sequencing valve for the center reel??

I would seriously look into the sequence valve. Maybe some old seal debris clogging the orifice. Good luck,

FYI. It was the Sequence valve indeed
