SANDPRO smooth tires Cancel The title field is required!

   I am having a hard time locating a 22-11-8 smooth tire for our toro sand pro. We want too have the option of pulling a terra-broom with it on our greens during aerification. The only place I have found them is through toro, but at $117 Im trying too find a better deal. I have searched the web for hours and have come up short. If anyone has purchased smooth tires in this size before or has a company I could purchase them through I would greatly appreciate the advise.

   If you willing to go with a minimal tread, you could do something like this.

   If you can go with a smaller 8" size you could do a ribbed tire.

   I have the same ones that Keith found on eBay. Paid around $65/each for them. Got them through a local tire guy.

   Toro is the only you'll find them. Checked with several tire dealers that are great about getting odd sizes, and Toro holds the rights on that tire.

   I never had a problem running knobby sand pro tires on greens. Remember the venting attachment, it worked pretty well back in the day.

   Most good tire shops have a tire (true round machine) forget the name of the unit, that will remove the tread to any level you want.
