Toro 3100 engine stall on mower engagment Cancel The title field is required!

   Have a greens mower with 2900 hrs that wants to stall when you press mow pedal. Seems to be worse when there is colder temps outside. Once you have mowed a few greens it no longer occurs.

   Engine may be weak if the valves have not been adjusted.

   A few things come to mind to me:
   1. Hydraulic oil need to be replaced along with filter
   2. Valves need adjustment
   3. Carburetor needs to be disassembled and cleaned
   
   I got into the habit a few years back to disassemble an place my carbs in an ultra sonic cleaner during service. This gets all the dirt out. Very rarely now do i have carb problems. The ultra sonic cleaner works on all small parts I clean spray nozzles and screens in it also.
