Last year I replaced both front and rear rollers on one of my four sidewinder 3500s with a UHMW polyethylene rollers from R&R, I wanted to do a comparison between the poly rollers and the steel ones. Granted I only have about 6 months use on the new poly rollers but so far they are great. My front steel rollers were wearing out, pitting and developing holes, the new poly rollers are solid UHMW material so even as they wear I don't have to worry about holes developing. The rear rollers use a 1" solid stainless steel shaft that doesn't require grease and are very low maintenance. The front rollers are the same, they have a wear sleeve and and ride right on the axle bolt, neither front or rear rollers use bearings and the UHMW material doesn't seem to accumulate as much debris. Oh and they are 1/2 the price of what my distributor wanted to charge me.
