Just looking on so.easy info on what is the best setup with the compensator springs everything looked great until about 2 weeks ago now I can'tell get them dialed in seeing overlap marks between reels and just wondering how everyone is setting there up we are cutting Bermuda 419 fairways and I haven't change the setup compensator springs is as loose as it will go and in the last hole on the rod like I said it was great all season until 2 weeks ago tried collar kits when it did this last year and they didn't help.

Those springs are a dog chasing your tail kind of thing. I would take them off and see what they do, then start by adding a little tension and working up from there. I don't remember the timing, but I had 3 settings for the year based on climatic conditions so I didn't get that 3/2 look.

    Regards,

This year my boss purchased a 2yr old 5510. He had 4X4 kit added because it spun on hills. I didn't like the plastic rollers on the front, they seem badly worn for the age of the machine. I would like to replace them with heavier metal ones like on my 5500. The roller diameter and axle length and size are all the same the only difference is the length of the actual roller. I don't think the extra weight will do anything but help. Has anyone else done this, what was the outcome pros or cons.

    Thanks for any help
