    Hello all,

I have a multi pro 1250 that I believe is leaking because of a damaged "seat and seat base" in the lower spindle section of the valve. Toro does not list this as an individual part, only as part of a complete valve spindle section for $300. I just wondered if anyone else out there may have had this problem and how you were able to resolve it.

    Thanks gentlemen

It's probably the check valve diaphragm on the valve body itself. Easy fix and only a few cents a piece. Worth changing out first, as these check valves are designed to hold any minor leakage from the valve.

If this doesn't solve your problem, check out part number 100-6881 "Cone-Stem, Boom Valve". From what I can tell on the diagram, this may be the part you need. But, I have yet to ever replace one of these in either one of our 1250's.

Worst case scenario, I have three in the bone yard. They worked when we parked it....wouldn't mind parting ways with one.

I had a problem years ago with a SmithCo sprayer and the valves, I ended up replacing them with electric ball valves, with a stainless ball. Never a problem again.

Thank you for the suggestions guys. I do have the part number 100-6881 and we had replaced all the o-rings last season. The seat base has a small crack in it that we assumed could be the problem. We'll see, it will be a few months before I know since its about 5 dg outside here today!
I did find those parts though it took some work. Neither Toro or Hardi list those parts but Hardi does carry them. It was about $3.50 for the two.
