Anyone have suggestions on brand and what has worked for them? I know i'm young, but I HATE lifting the huge 3100-D reels into my grinder and moving them off the bench to the floor. I saw global industries scissor lift is around 400 bucks and is by far the cheapest one I have seen. Don't want to purchase something that is going to crap out on me right away. thoughts???

We have a Trion lift table that has been here longer than me, so over ten years, that I absolutely adore. I lift everything, to bench height and then transport to grinder, etc. It will lift Toro 1600 tee mowers no problem. I am not sure what it cost new, but it was worth it! I modified the table to work better for our need, but other than that and a battery occasionally, it just keeps on working.

Take a look at this one. We got it with our grinder but I love it. Works great for all of our cutting units. http://www.sipgrinder.com/products/Simplex/s500.html

I'll have to go with Stephen on this one. Purchased one with our grinders two years ago and don't know how we got by without it. Right around 1,500 bucks, best buy for the dollars. Check with Mark at SIP.

Not sure if these are what the others are talking about, but check out item # 282GLRT from www.precisionusa.com. Kind of pricey, but we did a scissor table last year, and while it's great for a lot of things, it didn't get exactly high enough to get to our benches. I know other manufacturers make something along this line as well.
