The rubber coating on our tru-turf rs48-11c drive roller has worn off. Short of buying a new roller, has anyone found a way to re-coat the roller? Or have used something else to put on it to regain traction?

You can try using Rhino Liner, but finding a company the coats the inside of dump truck beds would be your best bet. We had the inside of sweeper housing done by them before, prior to installing the new housing and they lasted twice as long. Check your area for a company that does that sort of work. If you try the Rhino Liner make sure your rollers are clean and scuffed up really well so it has a good bonding surface.

We found a company locally to do it and cost 300 bucks. The shipping to canada would probably negate any savings but the company that did the work was Fort Garry Industry's in Winnipeg Canada. They have a division of the company that makes/fabricates components for fire trucks. The end product was as good if not better than new. I could send you the info and a pic if u like.
