   Mel was dehyphenated at the time. I won $ 25 with a bet that George Brett would indeed play in Series with hemarrhoids in 1980 and also I bet 5 to win $15 that the former Notre Dame catcher would homer off his former mate at Notre Dame. I told my buddy after the homer that he had caught for him his whole NCAA career at ND and hence knew his stuff better than anyone.
   
   Didn´t see a ball game this season, it is tough in southern Spain with bent greens coming out of summer.

   But I think 2016 is reserved for the Giants, remember the even year thing; 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016.

   
   
   I am a little worried about that, but hey we almost got you in 2014, the only thing I would fear in the rematch is listening to Joe Buck and his man crush on Madison. Of course I had to hear him spread his man crush on the whole Mets pitching staff this past World Series.
