I'm considering soil amendments to the root zone of a new green construction.

Does anyone have expereince amending with inorganics, like zeolite or Profile?

What is the percentage of the mix? Is it better to go with or without peat moss as well?

    Hello Steve:

Depending on the shipping costs I would consider zeolite @ 5 % by volume.. The only one(s) I am familiar with are mined in New Mexico, U.S.A so availability might be an issue .

i have used profile in rootzone mixes, but i dont think its necessary to have it blended thru the full depth. The top 4-6 inches is good. I also use it under sod. Originally, i did side by side comparisons with and without the profile and I can attest that with profile, things "take" in half the time.
