What are some of the reviews of the Sunseeker App that is currently available. In addition, how you have used this app to help educate your membership. We have discussed the idea of using the app to help gain additional knowledge with surrounding trees around our greens that create problematic shade issues. Any reviews positive or negitive.

I've got it on both my iPad and Android phone. Works great and is an awesome tool to predict future shade issues. Easy to show anyone the proof. I've got the actual Sunseeker app that utilizes your devices camera.

I also use the sunseeker app quite frequently. It was a very useful tool I used to convey the shade issues on some greens and tees to the owner. He was convinced that some tree removal was necessary and I no longer have a shade problem on greens and tees. I highly recommend purchasing it. worth every penny.

When I type "sunseeker" in the App Store the only apps that come up are for boats... What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

Sun Seeker has been a great help in deciding which trees need to be removed during our construction process. Of course, at this point, if I think it might be an issue the trackhoe might accidentally run into it. ;)

Check out SOlight, great app to show how much sun area is getting and time of day. Can take a snapshot of screen which can then be used to show others your findings.

I've used the Sun Surveyor app for a while. Seems to be the same as Sun Seeker but for Android. One cool feature is that you can take a "screen shot" and use the picture of the screen in your blog or presentation to a green committee or something like that. Great tool.
