Toro Titan Split Tines Cancel The title field is required!

   Considering using the "Toro Titan Split Tines" for my upcoming fairway aeration in my heavy clay/silt soil....any feedback on thier performance, specifically will they split heavy clay effectively without plugging/clogging up....thanks in advance

   Tried them and was disappointed.
   
   Forget It! If it sounds to good to be true............
   
   Put them in the same category as the quick change out tines Toro came out with the special tool.

   We tried the split tines earlier this year and they plugged up quickly. We topdress fairways with a coarse sand and the sand was plugging the tines.

   Yes, that was an epic fail. Our first 1298 came with the quick change tines. After breaking too many collars to count, and having the tines stuck in the collars to where you had to literally break the collar to remove the tine, I complained loud enough to get a free set of the regular heads. Not to mention we broke the tool within the first few uses and the new tool they had sent us was a much heavier, beefed up version.
