Congratulations to Chris Dalhamer and all his staff and volunteers on a great U S Open. Course played very fair and there were lots of great comments about the course from many of the players. Always interesting to see all the talk on the Monday after the event, especially when that talk is focused on what didn't happen in regards to complaints about the course playing conditions. I know countless hours went towards making sure this event came off in a way that reflected positively on all those involved. Great leadership by Chris and his staff made that happen.

Also was very impressed by the fact that Jim Nantz who had just a few minutes to comment while appearing on the Fox broadcast on Saturday went out of his way to make sure he used some of that time to praise Chris and his staff. Thank you Mr. Nantz!

Ditto to all of the above.

Much more entertaining tournament when the players could play offensively and be rewarded, instead of defensively, with enough trouble to penalize them when they did make a mistake.

I wonder how much the USGA staff got out of the way and let the PB staff work their magic? It appears quite a bit.

I want to give kudos to the behind the scenes USGA staff and volunteers. While working the 17 mile drive parking wouldn't be as bad with all the scenery, it was still a lot to do, along with bus transportation, entrance gates, concession tents, corporate tents, transporting players on and off the course (because the location of 9 and 10), food and beverages, simply mind boggling when I think of it. All that work was superb. Planning and execution is a year around thing, add this to the other tournaments they hos. Well done USGA.
