I am going to post a link that I thought was interesting I thought on OT rules. I didn't even know they existed. The gist of the story is to help the middle class managers, exempt employees, there is a law that requires anyone who works over 40 hours and is paid less than $23,660 per year. The article suggests this is from the mid 70's and it ought to be raised to an appropriate level for today's dollar.

The article suggests the democrats should and the president should jump all over it, as it would help their main constituents. And the republicans should jump all over it as it would help with family values, less OT hours would be worked and there would be more family time.

The other interesting thing I thought about the article is how it compares President Obama to President Reagan in his economic policies of trickle down. See didn't I tell you President Obama was more Republican (Centrist is probably a better word) than you all wanted to admit?

Just thought it has been too quiet in here for our own good.

Oh, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
