   Being a tech maybe it is the stock number or the location number of the fuse that goes in there. or maybe the serial number of the equipment, possible the hours when the hour meter was changed ? You generally would have to ask him or look it up in the equipment records.

   I agree with Frank that this is a possible answer. We have done the same when we have installed new hour meters.

   Just ask, there's many things it could be, just don't assume. It could be the filter number, 4435 does actually crossover to a different Napa filter number. So there is a brand of filter with that filter number on it too. Not saying it is but you can simply ask.

   I would think the hour meter was changed but maybe the motor was changed originally, then the hour meter?
