I am doing some research on my percent of labor to the gross revenue for the course. I would like to compare it to other courses. Not looking for budget numbers just a percentage. If some of you don't mind posting I would appreciate it.

Ours is 27% if I did the math right. It does include part of a Golf Facility Supervisor's salary (he over sees all 3 of our city courses) and part of our Mechanic's cost that is split as well. It also includes our pension contributions, FICA contributions, health insurance contribution which is paid 100%, and our workman's comp.

If I just take the base salaries and seasonal, it would be about 19 to 20 %.

We are a a State Park Authority Golf Courses and hire also.

Personnel Services make up 51% of our budget
Full time Salaries make up 35% of it
    Temporary/Part time make up 1%
    The remainder is
    -FICA
    - Retirement Contributions
    - Health Insurance contributions
    - Unemployment Compensation
    - Etc.

right now I am around 70% but that is only because we have no other funds to do anything extra so most of my budget is in Labor for the five guys currently on my crew.

Looks like a couple posts are reporting labor as a percentage of their maintenance budget, not gross revenue of their facility. We are pretty close to 23% all in with payroll tax and benefit allocations. Dane
