Since the season is ramping up here in south Texas and the snow birds along with the winter Texans have had there ways with the course. I got to thinking about if I didn't have to be polite and tactful and had the opportunity to put out any signs I wanted to on the course what would they say? First sign would read something like this. (WHAT PART OF CART PATH ONLY DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!) Second sign might be (90 DEGREE IS A RULE! NOT A GUIDE LINE) I'm sure everyone has some good ones and it may bring a chuckle or two

Only people with real ailments receive blue flags gut not you you lazy toad! Another would be if your turn down this DG path looking for the next tee and you have exited the concrete cart path, turn around, return to the golf shop, you are too stupid to play golf! I have many, too numerous to list!

    "LADIES,
CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU TELL EACH OTHER AND ANYONE ELSE THAT WILL LISTON,
WE WORK ON THE GOLF COURSE EVERY DAY...NOT JUST LADIES DAY"

Oh, and (tapping into my inner TRUMP and picking on the ladies):

    "LADIES,
DON'T BE AFRAID TO GIVE EACH OTHER THOSE ONE-FOOTERS, HALF-FOOTERS, ETC."

My sign would say "There are 365 better days to play golf than today". Had a hand full of hackers playing in the rain storm we had today and laughed when I seen them running in from the golf course during the hail storm. Another one would be "we can not control the irrigation, if you go beyond the cart signs around the greens. They are on sensors and you will get wet.

"Thanks for coming out, enjoy your round. We appreciate your participation, and your green fee, even if you don't follow all of the rules. Because what the hell, you're here to have fun, right? We are just glad to not be one of the hundreds of courses that will close down for good this year, and we appreciate your contribution to the cause."

    Or something like that

I just have to sneak this into the thread. We had a group playing at my last club and when they got to #2 green which is right across from our shop, the sprinklers were on and one of the golfers was cursing at us and telling us to turn them off. While he was doing this and looking at us I noticed one shutting down so I hollard at the green "OFF" and as the guy was turning around he noticed them all shutting down and turned back to me kinda confused so I shrugged my shoulders and told him they were on voice control. Well we all know that when #2 goes off #3 comes on. so we just waited as they got to the green and you could see them yelling at the green sprinklers while we were safely laughing our tails off. True Story!

The Condition of the golf course is only as good as the quality of the golfers playing here today! Have a wonderful day!

My 1st tee is right next to my 17th tee. People will always step over the wall on the 17th tee to take their warm up swings, and every once in a while, hit a ball or two to warm up. Have always wanted to place a "Driving Range Closed" sign facing the 1st tee

No! You cannot use the practice putting green or range tee during a frost delay!
