Is anyone aware of any studies done on rolling greens after spraying? Would it ruin the application? Liquid fert spoon feed tomorrow and I'm much faster than the roller and with a 7AM shotgun of kids-----well you know---

I always spray in front of the roller and have never had any negative results. I regularly apply foliar ferts every 10-14 days.

    Hi Doug,

No studies I am aware of but I used to do it at the last club I was at. We would triplex-roll right after the sprayer went across the green. I figured it would help distribute the foliar material across the leaf and get everything else at least to the mat interface to give it a better opportunity to make its way into the profile. I never saw any adverse effects from it but have not done it here, yet :)

Depending on what type of roller and what you are spraying I can't see it hurting anything but I know very little.

Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it......

I roll after everytime I spray. Might wait another 20 minutes if I'm spraying a fungicide.

    G´Day Doug

I do this regularly, especially when I spray Fe and Primo. Works great for me.
