Not sure if anyone else has visited the US Department of Justice website lately but there have been some subtle changes made to the site. I am sure if asked it one would be told it is merely a makeover of their site, long overdue, a refreshing so to speak, yada yada. Gone from the top are the colors of the United States of red, white and blue and the American flag. Replaced with basic black and white............a big contrast from the former. Also on top of the site is a quote that many may not even pay attention to and others may find very strange........"The common law is the will of the MANKIND, issuing from the LIFE of the PEOPLE"..........the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks from the 1930's............an advocate and proponent of the "international law movement" at that time. The movement backed global common law and global workers rights. Just a tad bit socialist in my view but then that's just me. Perhaps a quote from George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin.............any number of our founders might be more appropriate on the US Department of Justice website.
