    Everyone,

As most of us know, GCSAA's Rounds for Research auction begins tomorrow. We as members of the association and individuals who are passionate about the game of golf need to try and help get the program out to the golfing public. This is the only way the program will be successful. I have spoke about it to my board of directors at my club, my green committee and two other membership related groups. I as the president of my local chapter even took time at our fundraiser to talk about the program. Tomorrow, with the support of my board, I will be sending a reminder email to the members of my club. If everyone who reads these forums will take the time to tell at least one golfer tomorrow, the program will be heading the right direction. Lets all get involved with this and help get monies back to our universities for research.

    Respectfully,

    Jeff,

Nice post, I know I have shared GCSAA facebook posts before to reach some of my golfing friends across the country.

I also think it would be helpful to work with the PGA sections and have them encourage their members to let the golfing public know about the opportunities, they have more chances of contact with golfers than we do.

I was on the rounds4research page at 9:25 PM CDT and notices some of the items had closed while there where some that were still open for bidding. Some of the items that had closed did not have any bids on them. Also along the top of the site it said the auction was still open. Anyone else see the same thing?

    Thanks!
