Thanks for sharing and thanks Larry for the editorial.

I also appreciate the comments to the article made by a PGA professional as well (not tour pro). He is spot on as well.

I have to figure out how to share this on social media and retweet the heck out of it.

I also think we are sometimes our own worse enemy as we try to push ourselves. Not me, it's .156" HOC, and I will topdress, use Primo, and moisture levels to get to an acceptable speed, heck I just want them to putt smooth. Yea I want to stroke my ego, but not at the expense of players not having fun.

Lol.... the genie is out of the bottle. There is no going back. Produce over the top, fast greens or someone else will try. Whether they crash or not is not the question. Someone else will get in line.

We pulled greens covers on March 11th. That very day I had golfers wondering if we had mowed yet. Then wondering what the speed was. It makes you wonder if anyone enjoyed golf back in the day of greens running 9 to 10.

My owners/bosses want me to keep the greens between 9 and 10. Any faster than this, it will slow play down as the golfers will 3 to 5 put all day. I actually enjoy this speed myself as I can stroke my putt.
