We can not get the mower decks to come on our AR5. If I am doing this correctly at the controller we have input lights for the mow switch and joystick up and down. We don't have an output light for the mow solenoid, would that suggest it is bad or is there another issues I should look into. Thanks

Check all safety switches first, I have had to replace the joy stick before because of intermittent micro switch

Todd thanks for the reply. Still looking into this situation so I know I am heading in the right direction so as to safety switches I have 3 parking brake, proximity neutral and seat switch. As to the joystick I noticed the 2 micro switch heading towards a plug in do they ever go bad. Thanks.

I'm not totally familiar with this unit but I know Jacs use a proximity switch usually down by the lift arms to tell the unit when the cutting units have been lowered. typically on the right side front around the lift arm. On the older Jacs the mowers wont turn on if the switch has failed.

Thanks again for all the replies. Just wanted to post what ended up being the problem. Turned out the solenoid valve wasn't working as it should on the old one if you placed a screwdriver into it you would not get any resistance like in the new one. Also was told that if a screwdriver was placed into the coil and you engaged the mow switch you could feel the magnet kicking in so you know everything was working up to there. Thanks again.
