    Hi all,

Quick question for those of you using the Wiedenmann aerators, are you using them on hydro-static tractors, or gear driven?

    Thanks!

We used ours with a 1440 Massey shuttle Shift. Worked good.

We have the gxi8. Run a JD 4520 hydro with no problems. I do wheelies once in a while on some green surrounds as the front is a tad light. Plenty of power to run it. In 4 years and about 100 acres only broke a shoke absorber rod which we welded and went on our way.

We use a 4720 J.D. hydo. no problem but you need to use a full weight rack with 70 lb weights(big weight rack bracket)

I have a different aerifyer but I use a Massey Ferguson gear driven but the real need is the electric PTO switch ours uses. All we have to do is flip the switch when raising or lowering and your going. no clutching.
