Wondering if anyone out there has used a Toro Flex 21 (04021) on approaches. We started using them this year at a height of .300. At certain times we are having a problem with the cutting unit on upslopes when we mow side to side. We have adjusted the rear roller to accomodate for the higher mowing height as suggested in manual. Turf is getting cut on the down slope but hardly anything gets cut on upslope. When on a flat surface or even a slight angle on slopes, everything is perfect. Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

    Thanks
    Kevin

If the slop is severe you might not be able to mow across. We have a couple of apps we could never mow
across. Top heave mowers could be an issue.

It's cutting more grass with the grain because the reel dips below the bedknife and pulls the forward pointed grass up. That's been my experience. The ideal solution is to eliminate the grain.
