I know that a regular tire patch won't work for repair for this application, but what can any of you tell me about sidewall repair boots? We have a 20x10-10 tire, brand new nearly, that somebody hit a bridge corner with, tore a nick into the wall. Tried tubing it, but I hate tubes if I don't have to use them and there is an alternative to it. My fear with this is that these boots are pretty large and these lower profile tires maybe won't support this apparatus.

I've just never used one and wondered of success before I try. Thanks ahead.

I tube most of my tires because of the beating they take. Tubeless just doesn't hold up to OUR wear and tear.

I do not have a tire machine in my shop. Take them five minutes down the road to TMA

Local retread shop may be able to do a Section repair on the tire. The cost may be prohibitive although.
