Toro 5510 Plastic wiehle rollers

This year my boss purchased a 2yr old 5510. He had 4X4 kit added because it spun on hills. I didn't like the plastic rollers on the front, they seem badly worn for the age of the machine. I would like to replace them with heavier metal ones like on my 5500. The roller diameter and axle length and size are all the same the only difference is the length of the actual roller. I don't think the extra weight will do anything but help. Has anyone else done this, what was the outcome pros or cons.
