I read the recent info on access to tournaments on the website, would anybody have info on the Ryder Cup policy this year? I am not certain it falls under PGA of America.

    Thanks,

    Hi Daniel,

I don't know the admission policy for the Ryder Cup but the event is run jointly by the PGA of America and the PGA European Tour.

    Dan,

Those cushy city jobs must be paying well for you to take more time off. If I didn't know better I would've thought you were a GM.

The only t ime I attended a Ryder Cup was when it was held at Oakland Hills. That year Michigan golf course superintendents were admitted with their gold cards but only those members of those chapters. I attended as a guest of one of the Ryder Cup team members and got access that way.

Being semi-local and having worked at the host club as an Assistant I am very interested in attending and was told by Scott Woodhead at GCSAA that you must be a member of the local association as well as GCSAA.
