Guys anyone had issues with the lifespan of these US Battery Blue in colour fitted in our 2 seater EZGOs .

They use around 25 % more distilled water than the Trojan for one, even they have 4 year warranty or 2,600 amperes warranty they fail very ,very quickly.

We are told its heat, max heat here is 100 c and the carts sleep in individual vented, not air con garages.

We have a GPS fitted can the minimal load they take be the cause? Again the issue if the cart is too drained it won't charge. Also, the meter showing discharge status shows only full to 75% never lower even the cart cant move

Also, this electronic parking brake is a rust bucket slightest moisture can find its way inside the mild steel release springs seize up.

Our local dealer even though it doesn't say in owners handbook says we must clean the brake head monthly, really ????? We are in Saudi but a dry heat mainly. Any experiences you can share would be great

Guys all I can conclude is that EZGO only shipped export with the US Blue battery fitted. I was very surprised as have had Trojan batteries for more years than I care to remember, these EZGOs came with the US Blue batteries, clearly not the same spec and quality as Trojan.
And now I am the poor monkey that has failing carts not even capable of 9 holes after just 26 months , dealer says its the heat, well trojan work well in this heat.

not nearly apples to apples in conditions, but we've had bad luck in a relatively short time on the same battery you are referring too. Not pleased at all.

western ND, cool spring and fall, but we often hit triple digits in July and August. 80-95 is common from mid-June through mid-September. Evening drop into 50's typically, and peak heat is from 1-6 or so.

Our property is relatively flat with only 1 of 6 miles of path with any real terain to speak of. Supposedly a good rotation schedule, but that's debatable. Previous fleet wasn't as bad if I recall correctly. Definitly checking with other vendors as our lease is nearing it's end.

Kyle thanks for your info...We have had batteries when they go using distilled water at a rate double to Trojan.

My Trojans in hot countries such as Saudi and Turkey once a week rigorous check and top up if required, these American batteries need twice a week check and top up.

It may be something to do with the electric brakes going bad. from 32 carts 17 carts, the brakes have burned out.

Had to fight real hard with the local dealer to get these on warranty. Reliance electric do an upgraded brake for half the price, this normally means there is large demand and so the price can be reduced

I have never gotten good life out of US batteries. Thank goodness E-Z-Go is now coming out with lithium batteries!
