I am on the east coast of Florida(Treasure coast area). We received well over 12" of rain from Isaac over a 3 day span. The course was closed for 5 days and I wasn't able to mow anything during that time.I mowed tee`s first being their well drained an slightly elevated. Then I mowed the greens.I knew this was going to be an issue, being these are OLD pushup greens.I raised the mowing height and boy did they scalp!I had no choice because I wanted to begin the process of getting them back to playability.I had dry sand and decided to topdress that day.It helped the surface abit but cosmetically the weren't pretty.I gave them a shot of Am sulfate and then followed up with a liquid fert. I was just wondering if any of you guy`s had any advice on how to further help along recovery. They are coming around but I am still at the higher cutting height.Good luck to the guy`s that had it worse then me!Thanks,Robert

I would drop the height .005 every two days until you get caught back up to where you were. I would also put out 1lb\n Ammonium sulphate. Since you received so much rain the greens probably leached out pretty good. The AMS will help the greens recover quick. IMO

You actually could of topdressed them before you cut them. Raising the height of the soil instead of the height of the mower. I have done this before and it does work, at least to some extent.
