    I understand with the circumstances because of Sandy, but I hear NJ will be able to vote by e-mail or fax. So what's the big deal about having photo id's?

    On Sunday on the evening news, not sure of the state but perhaps NJ they had cars pulling up and dropping off ballots like dropping off your income tax return at the post office at midnight. Very strange looking to say the least. I'm sure there was not chance of any hanky panky though.......couldn't be.

    Gladly presented my ID this morning at my polling place. I'll never understand the argument against voter ID.

    I'm with Clay on this one....did my duty AND was required to show my ID. I have nothing to hide, so what's the big deal about showing a photo ID to verify that I am who I say I am?

    I will show my ID this afternoon and it will be completely ignored! Want to make a gentleman's bet that if Romney appears to be the clear cut winner that Jesse Jackson etc. as well as all of Obama's committee people will be screaming that people were denied the right to vote and the lawyers will begin lining up? I would also bet that if Obama wins, Romney will be gracious and you will hear little in the way of cheating accusations from Romney or his closest advisers. I am sure lawyers will be in the background but I expect two very different responses from the two men.

    In watching various news channels while in and out of my office today I did see complaints of some minor (so far anyway) voter irregularities for lack of a better term. The New Black Panthers are back on duty in Philly, a mural of the president and his logo was left on a wall of a voter precinct somewhere, voting machines malfunctioning in Florida, Vote watchers being tossed out ..........the usual stuff. Oops forgot UN observers.......not so usual.

    I just came onto this forum after viewing the Fox News web site. I could have saved myself the trouble of going to Fox and come straight here, as David is reporting Fox News verbatim, word for word.

    David, you could just post a link to Fox or cut and paste the text. It would save you time typing and avoid draining the world of periods....................

    Not from Fox! Howard Dean said in an interview today the only way Obama loses Ohio is due to voter fraud! Steve, you may ridicule Fox but if they don't report it, who will? The main stream press doesn't just want Obama to win they have been trying to help him. Why would so little about Benghazzi be in the main stream press when it has more corruption or gross negligence than Watergate? Why did the main stream press never focus on Fast and Furious? It certainly sounds like a relevant story to me. Some agency has to report what actually goes on. Just because Fox does so doesn't make it a partisan issue. Lets see the difference in the coverage tomorrow if things don't go the way the main stream press had planned!

    Wow Sandy, paranoid a little bit? How do you know all about the mainstream media when you only watch Fox? :D Fox makes EVERYTHING a partisan issue.

    When I voted this morning I showed my voters id card, no picture id, no DL. Now if one doesn't have their voters id card, they can show their drivers license or other forms of id.

    They actually had a bar scanner, they scanned my card, that pulled up my information on a little lap top computer. I verified my address, then instead of signing in a book like we used to, I signed on an electronic reader, similar to credit card machines now. She verified that my signature was good. Then I voted.

    We do use paper ballots, after marking my ballot, then we put it into a machine.

    I voted in three different precincts. No one asked for any ID. Obama 2012.

    Steve you watch whatever it is you watch in France and I will watch what I choose. Or is that also a left wing mandate as to what TV channel I watch. The info was factual whatever channel it came from and if you said it was word for word you must be watching also.

    I'm saddened to see your post and the extravagant waste of periods. Do you know that every night in Africa millions of children go to bed with no punctuation marks at all? If you would donate just two periods per day, that would allow some poor, disadvantaged, child in a third world country another two sentences.

    Rick, I watch Fox because they have the brightest and most attractive women on TV! I am just a simple guy so that is all it takes. Trust me, I check out several news networks when something of importance is going on.
