    Greetings;

    Bet you thought I'd never say that. Only problem is the wrong President or Presidents was found guilty.

    The Russia investigation took a stunning turn this week as it was revealed that the FBI had collected "mountains of evidence" pertaining to bribery, kickbacks, threats of extortion and even money laundering. The news is so outrageous, it should have led to an outcry of pressure for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to immediately indict former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

    Looks like Hillary received 145 MILLION DOLLARS from Russia and Associates. Don't know why, we only gave them 20% of our Uranium. A FBI informant client was blocked by Loretta Lynch to inform Congress about the Russian corruption case.

    The reason you don't hear much about this in the mainstream media, it's for one reason. This has nothing to do with President Donald Trump and EVERYTHING to do with former President Barack Obama. Of course, it also has a clear link to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

    The report finds that federal investigators had ample evidence as early as 2009 when Obama was president, and Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.

    Eric Holder, Attorney General and FBI Agents Rosenstein, McCabe, Robert Mueller and Comey were all involved in the cover up of the Clinton Foundation scandal.

    I think it's about time these FBI agents investigating Mr. Trump should be investigated themselves.

    Fact Check Politics
    Hillary Clinton Gave 20 Percent of United States' Uranium to Russia in Exchange for Clinton Foundation Donations?
    Allegations of a "quid pro quo" deal giving Russia ownership of one-fifth of U.S. uranium deposits in exchange for $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation are unsubstantiated.

    Sec. of State Hillary Clinton's approval of a deal to transfer control of 20% of U.S. uranium deposits to a Russian company was a quid pro quo exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation. See Example( s )
    EXAMPLES
    Collected via e-mail, 2016
    January 2016: This was on Facebook: "As Secretary of State, Hilary transferred half of U.S. uranium to Russia and received $145 million donation to Clinton Foundation." March 2016: This is posted on Facebook. "Secretary of State Hillary Clinton transferred 20% of US uranium to Putin's Russia as 9 investors in the deal funneled $145 million to the Clinton Foundation." Is this a true fact? Thanks.
    RATING
    FALSE
    ORIGIN

    In the months leading up to the 2016 United States presidential election, stories abounded about the relationships between the Clinton Foundation and various foreign entities.

    May 2015 saw the publication of a book called Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich, an exposé of alleged Clinton Foundation corruption written by Peter Schweizer, a former Hoover Institution fellow and editor-at-large at the right-wing media company Breitbart.

    A chapter in the book suggests that the Clinton family and Russia each may have benefited from a "pay-for-play" scheme while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, involving the transfer of U.S. uranium reserves to the new Russian owners of an international mining operation in exchange for $145 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation.

    The mining company, Uranium One, was originally based in South Africa, but merged in 2007 with Canada-based UrAsia Energy. Shareholders there retained a controlling interest until 2010, when Russia's nuclear agency, Rosatom, completed purchase of a 51% stake. Hillary Clinton played a part in the transaction because it involved the transfer of ownership of a material deemed important to national security — uranium, amounting to one-fifth of U.S. reserves — thus requiring the approval of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), on which the U.S. Secretary of State sits.

    During the same time frame that the acquisition took place, Schweizer claims in Clinton Cash, the Clinton Foundation accepted contributions from nine individuals associated with Uranium One totaling more than $100 million. Among those who followed him in citing the transaction as an example of alleged Clinton corruption was GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, who said during a June 2016 speech in New York City:

    Hillary Clinton's State Department approved the transfer of 20% of America's uranium holdings to Russia, while nine investors in the deal funneled $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.

    Trump's campaign repeated the allegation in a September 2016 press release, and again in an October 2016 television ad stating that Clinton "gave American uranium rights to the Russians":

    An image circulating via social media during the final months of the presidential campaign asked the question, "So Hillary, if Russia is such a threat, why did you sell them 20% of our uranium? Are you a liar, or a traitor, or both?"

    clinton-uranium

    The Uranium One deal was not Clinton's to veto or approve

    Among the ways these accusations stray from the facts is in attributing a power of veto or approval to Secretary Clinton that she simply did not have. Clinton was one of nine cabinet members and department heads that sit on the CFIUS, and the secretary of the treasury is its chairperson. CFIUS members are collectively charged with evaluating the transaction for potential national security issues, then turning their findings over to the president. By law, the committee can't veto a transaction; only the president can. According to The New York Times, Clinton may not have even directly participated in the Uranium One decision. Then-Assistant Secretary of State Jose Fernandez, whose job it was to represent the State Dept. on CFIUS, said Clinton herself "never intervened" in committee matters.

    Despite transfer of ownership, the uranium remained in the U.S.

    A key fact ignored in criticisms of Clinton's supposed involvement in the deal is that the uranium was not — nor could it be — exported, and remained under the control of U.S.-based subsidiaries of Uranium One, according to a statement by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission:

    NRC's review of the transfer of control request determined that the U.S. subsidiaries will
    remain the licensees, will remain qualified to conduct the uranium recovery operations, and will continue to have the equipment, facilities, and procedures necessary to protect public health and safety and to minimize danger to life or property. The review also determined that the licensees will maintain adequate financial surety for eventual decommissioning of the sites. Neither Uranium One nor ARMZ holds an NRC export license, so no uranium produced at either facility may be exported.

    The timing of most of the donations does not match

    Of the $145 million allegedly contributed to the Clinton Foundation by Uranium One investors, the lion's share — $131.3 million — came from a single donor, Frank Giustra, the company's founder. But Giustra sold off his entire stake in the company in 2007, three years before the Russia deal and at least 18 months before Clinton became secretary of state.

    Of the remaining individuals connected with Uranium One who donated to the Clinton Foundation, only one was found to have contributed during the same time frame that the deal was taking place, according to The New York Times — Ian Telfer, the company's chairman:

    His donations through the Fernwood Foundation included $1 million reported in 2009, the year his company appealed to the American Embassy to help it keep its mines in Kazakhstan; $250,000 in 2010, the year the Russians sought majority control; as well as $600,000 in 2011 and $500,000 in 2012. Mr. Telfer said that his donations had nothing to do with his business dealings, and that he had never discussed Uranium One with Mr. or Mrs. Clinton. He said he had given the money because he wanted to support Mr. Giustra's charitable endeavors with Mr. Clinton. "Frank and I have been friends and business partners for almost 20 years," he said.

    The timing of Telfer's donations might be questionable if there was reason to believe that Hillary Clinton was instrumental in the approval of the deal with Russia, but all the evidence points to the contrary — that Clinton did not play a pivotal role, and, in fact, may not have played any role at all.

    Foundation admits disclosure mistakes

    One fault investigations into the Clinton Foundation's practices did find was that not all of the donations were properly disclosed — specifically, those of Uranium One Chairman Ian Telfer between 2009 and 2012. The foundation admitted this shortcoming and pledged to correct it, but as the Guardian pointed out in its May 2015 discussion of Clinton Cash, the fact that it happened is reason enough to sound alarm bells:

    It is also true that large donations to the foundation from the chairman of Uranium One, Ian Telfer, at around the time of the Russian purchase of the company and while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, were never disclosed to the public. The multimillion sums were channeled through a subsidiary of the Clinton Foundation, CGSCI, which did not reveal its individual donors.

    Such awkward collisions between Bill's fundraising activities and Hillary's public service have raised concerns not just among those who might be dismissed as part of a vast right-wing conspiracy.

    An enormous volume of interest and speculation surrounds the workings of the Clinton Foundation, which is to be expected. Given the enormous sums of money it controls and the fact that it is run by a former U.S. president who is married to a possible future U.S. president, the foundation deserves all the scrutiny it gets, and more.

    At the same time, for the sake of accuracy it's crucial to differentiate between partisan accusations and what we actually know about it — however little that may be.

    Update

    On 17 October 2017, The Hill reported obtaining evidence that Vadim Mikerin, a Russian official who oversaw the American operations of the Russian nuclear agency Rosatom, was being investigated for corruption by multiple U.S. agencies while the Uranium One deal was up for approval — information that apparently was not shared with U.S. officials involved in approving the transaction. The Hill also reported receiving documents and eyewitness testimony "indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton's charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow," although no specifics about who those Russian nuclear officials were or how the money was allegedly routed to the Clinton Foundation were given. In any case, none of these revelations prove that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton participated in a quid pro quo agreement to accept payment for approval of the Uranium One deal.

    Updated [17 October 2017]: Added synopsis of new reportage by The Hill.

    I worry about you guys, Mel. It;s none of my business but in today's world of the internet being all knowing, people tend to find a statement they want to believe in and forget about fact checking. I have an employee who believes the earth is hollow and occupied by higher beings know as Agarthans. I try to point out the obvious physics that would make this all but impossible but he just tells me that physics are a man made idea and don't apply to these higher life forms. It's tough to discuss facts with people who have a total disregard for science and truth in general.The California and Tennessee wildfires were both caused by members of the Illuminati in underground bunkers who are staging a final intense battle with the Agarthans. The earth is surrounded by millions of cloaked UFO's waiting to rescue the Illuminati and take them to a planet in our solar system, that we can't detect.
    I guess these are just alternative facts

    Greetings;

    Be careful Mel, don't put our friend North of the border on a pedestal yet. There is a lot of misinformation on Larry's post. Not through his fault but the people who wrote it. I looked up more info on this but it just gets more mind-boggling.

    Did Larry inform you that on October 18, 2017 "Quebec passed a sweeping ban on face coverings barring public workers from Niqab or Burqa and obliging citizens to unveil when riding public transit or receiving government service ushering in a law believed to be the first kind in North America.

    OK back to the Uranium - One Deal. The House Intelligence committee is going to probe the Russian Uranium deal. As said earlier, Obama, Clinton, Lynch, Mueller, McCabe, Comey Eric Holder all in the cover up for Obama and Hillary. There is a FBI informant presently under a gag order and hopefully that will be removed by 10/25/2017. of course, unless the Clinton's get to him first.

    A lot of bribery and corruption on the previous administration. Remember the IRS and Lois Lerner and the other corrupt officials? The Liberal Media cannot ignore this corrupt part of GOVERNMENT any longer.

    Corey, it was not Hannity. Stephen, you can easily look this up.

    Trevor, I think you're fooling me. A certain amount of money went to her brother's construction company to build so many houses in Haiti. He built only 10 % and pocketed the rest. I'm sure you heard the Haitians boo Hillary when she campaigned in Miami.

    It appears the Obama Administration and Hillary were in Collusion with the Russians way back in 2009 also they tried to screw Mr. Trump - Guess what - Along with the administration being corrupt so were the FBI agents that tried to protect Hillary and Obama. I'm sure you have all heard what is going on now so just ADMIT IT!

    Hi Larry;

    Sorry, too much to read and absorb. I have not given up on Mr. Trump. I think he is our only hope. I seldom watch the news or fake news any longer. I'll give you some examples;

    (1) Antifas calls on followers to start a civil war on President trump and they are nothing but a terrorist organization.

    (2) The Uranium deal with the Clinton's.

    (3) Robert Mueller, the special counsel charged with prolonging the fiasco circling around the pointless probes of President Donald trump doing business with Russia, has become a modern hero for the American left. FBI Mueller and his sixteen or so cronies have spent millions of dollars of taxpayer money investigating Trump and Russia and have found nothing. Although the Trump administration is making great strides in correcting the mistakes of the Obama years, there are forces just as powerful who are looking to stop them from getting anything done.

    (4) The Chain Migration deal.

    (5) According to a new government survey, nearly 45% of millennial in the U.S. say they would rather live in a socialist country than a capitalist democracy, a sobering statistic that is like nothing we have seen from any American generation in history. One of five Americans in there 20s believes that former Soviet Dictator Joseph Stalin is a hero to be revered and more than 25% think the same of Lenin and current North Korea Kim Jong Un.

    (6) We have an issue of crimes against women and some men by government officials.

    (7) We just had another Border Agent murdered and his partner seriously injured by illegals and still that wall is not going up.

    (8) Not ONE DEMOCRAT has voted on anything the republicans and Trump has brought to the House and Senate.

    (9) Democrats slam the tax cuts.

    Larry, just a few things that Mr. Trump has to straighten out.

    Hey Larry;

    You never got back to me on the "Chain Migration Deal" - It is a lottery on people coming into this country. No matter where you are from, if you win - you are a citizen of the U.S. - no questions asked. Then, after time you may bring in a family member and keep bringing all family members in. It never ends.

    Stupid Republicans and their tax plan. Nancy Pelosi says it will bring on ARMAGEDDON. Chuck Schumer says it is a disaster. I don't want anyone to know that I have made a little over 35 % in the market in the last 7 months. That don't count because the Democrats know better than I how to spend my money.

    Mueller and his bunch of CROOKED team of lawyers and other FBI crooks has so far cost the American Taxpayer about 7 Million Dollars in five months and another 7 Million I heard but not sure where. Face it, they all hate Trump and will do anything to destroy him. Hopefully, they will be fired pretty soon.

    That guy from Mexico who entered our country 5 times illegally was found innocent in the shooting death of that beautiful 32-year-old girl in San Francisco. Well, we all know she should not have been with her family walking along the bridge. And, the gun that shot her was stolen and it fell and went off. Weapons experts say it is impossible for that particular gun to do that.

    I know I rambled on, but it gives you a lot of leeway to punch holes in what I wrote. No politics on forum for a while. I just thought a quick little message will get all of you after me. However, most of you out there know that I AM RIGHT!

    I did look up Chain Migration finally and it looks to be similar to our Family Reunification Program. I don't really see the issue if it is properly run. Your current birth rate is like 1.84. That means without immigration your population is shrinking. The president talks about the economy expansion but how will that expand without people to expand it.
    I swear Capt, if the Irish Potato famine was occurring right now, you be down at the port, pitchfork in hand.

    As for the cost of the investigation, it is likely money well spent. If it turns up nothing, it is still money well spent to assure American nothing was going on. Comparatively speaking the cost is negligible. A couple less trips to Margo and it is looked after.
    My buddy with the hollow earth theory at least laughs at himself on occasion, when he sound ridiculous even to himself.

    Red, I'm not so sure about that. Those were white people.
    We have to remember there were what they call the Black Irish

    Hey Cap't..have you ever traveled other than in your space ship?

    GREETINGS;

    Mr. Conard & Mr. Allan:

    You ask me if I ever traveled other than my space ship ?

    I am trying to get down but having a difficult time dodging about 35,000 e-mails. I don't know where they are coming from. I am also having a problem dodging what I think are millions and millions of Dollars. It looks like
    American Currency. I can see the world tilting and something on the water - it looks like " The Swamp Is Getting Wider and Somewhat Deeper. " Don't know what that means but I'm sure you earthlings must have some idea on that.

    Also, says something about the Mueller partisan attack team is the biggest corruption in the history of the U.S. and something about the FBI being "Famous But Incompetent."

    Wow! - looks like more American Currency coming at me. Something about a 17 million dollar " Slush Fund " and I think it says politicians fondle women and SCREW the innocent tax payer.

    OK - looks good ahead - no more debris - I am coming in now to listen to Lou Dobbs and find out what happened today in your country. Are you still trying to get rid of your President? Oh! Almost forgot, is it true earthlings in your stock market have gotten about a 35 % increase in your so called 401Ks under this President you now have???
