I am currently in the process of trying to remove the drive drum on one of our walk behind Toro Eflex 2100s. I have been following the service manual step by step and have removed all of the components on the left side of the drive drum. Apparently at this point I should be able to just slide the LH drum off (according to the service manual) but wouldn't you know it, the stubborn S.O.B doesn't want to cooperate. The drive drum is aluminum and I don't want to damage it by trying to drive a pry bar between the LH & RH drums, does anyone have any tips or tricks they've picked up over the years to pop loose a stuck drum?
