valve adjustment on a 3500 Cancel The title field is required!

   has any one done valve clearness adjustment on a 3500 the motor mount is in the way of the fly-wheel is there a tool for it?

   Is this a Toro 3500. If so they should tell you how to work around the motor mount. Their techs have the same mount in their way. I try to use engine mfg manuals if I can ,They can sometimes tell you a different way to check clearances , and adjust valves.

   I've done one but don't quite remember . I think used a pry bar on flywheel some how or put a couple of bolts in fly wheel to pry off of .

   Out of curiosity was the clearance off on the valves? I am assuming your talking about a toro 3500d sidewinder with a Kubota diesel? On my toro 3500d Kubota it looks as though there is a nut on the rear of the engine that you may be able to use to turn the engine.
