Toro 4500 or 4700 Cancel The title field is required!

   Curious on everyones opinions on the Toro GM4700 over the 4500. With our terrain was originally looking at the 4500 which I have had at previous courses and it preformed remarkably well but just have never ran a 4700.
   
   Any of you had issues with the 4700, prefer it over the 4500?

   The 4700 is basically the same unit with two extra decks/wing units that are great for making up time in open areas. You can run with one or both wings up or down when mowing around trees. We have two 4700's coming in April. I have had both and they are great machines, but the 4700 defiantly gives you more productivity.

   Do you find that the side decks are easily seen while in operation or is the operator constantly having to look back? We don't have many trees at all here but lots of cart paths and curbs. Thanks again!

   Hasn't been an issue for us as the decks are right at your side, so no looking back, more of looking to the side almost like watching where the front deck is traveling to keep off curbs. Never had an operator complain about them and I've found them very easy to see while mowing.
