    Greetings;

    Any thoughts on the PGA move to Mexico and not play the Trump course in Florida in 2017.

    Political or Not.

    Not that anyone gives a hoot, but I won't watch it next year.Actually, I'm sure the sponsors hope people watch it next year.

    They couldn't get a sponsor. Cadillac doesn't want to promote your boy, Cap.

    Of course it's political. Everything is political. I love it when people like Trump play nasty politics all day and then whine about it when it happens to them. The short fingered grammarian is a thin skinned bully.

    Actually, Commissioner Finchem's explanation seems very sound. Not so much political as value driven decision. The new sponsors might not even brand it for themselves but use it to grow golf in Mexico. http://www.golf.com/tour-and-news/donal ... ur-leaving

    I'm only sad that a location that had been on tour for that many years is now not on the schedule. Could they move the off week event there?

    Of course if I had my way they would still be playing events in Ft. Wayne where the King cashed his first check. Not that I'm that old, but I do remember many of the tournaments and locations when growing up in the 70's.

    Donald brought this on himself, but he will never take responsibility for it. If the sponsors don't want any part of him, it's all on him.

    Best quote. "It's quite ironic that we're going to Mexico after being at Doral," McIlroy said. "We just jump over the wall."

    Don't disagree with you, I just get a little nostalgic for the good old days of white picket fences and "Leave It to Beaver, (although I do know those good old days weren't good for a lot of people and we as a country have worked hard to change and fix it, so everyone can eventually have good old days to look back on.)

    The good old days were great. As long as you weren't black. Or female. or Hispanic. or Jewish. or.......maybe they weren't that great.

    You forgot American Indians. So, things are better now for blacks, females, Hispanics, and Jews.

    Generally, most generations like to harken back to the good old days. It won't be long before all of us are wishing for the good old days when boys had to pee in the boys room, and girls in the girls room.

    Greetings;

    Well, I guess it is political. I don't quite understand how Blacks, Hispanics, Women and Jews enter into this subject and also the good old days. However, there must be good reasons why they are now included.

    I do believe the tournament at Doral which has been going on since the early sixties certainly has helped the economy in that area.

    It appears to me that Commissioner Finchem's decision comes from the so-called establishment in golf and it is against Mr. Trump. As one of tens of million Americans that voted for Trump in the primaries, I'll be the first to tell the PGA to go to HELL!!!

    I smell a PGA tax when Trump becomes president. And Finchem will be forced into 15 years of hard labor.

    Hey Ron, instead of being mad at the PGA, maybe you should be mad at Cadillac. And yes, we really need the economic boost in S. Florida in the winter, thanks for thinking about us.

    This New York Times article says that Judge Curiel's father Salvador arrived in the United States in the 1920s, eventually becoming a citizen and working as a steelworker. Trump's mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, arrived in the United States from Scotland in 1930. Mary Anne became a US citizen in 1942.

    Since Trump and his parents have been major public figure for decades, we have more details about them than the Curiels. But even a brief bit of research says that Judge Curiel's father's immigration to the United States predates that of Trump's mother.

    WHO?...
    Actually, I'm boycotting anything to do with the LPGA.
    How offensive is it to have the initial "L" in front of any organization.
    That would be the same as having figurines out in front of a restroom entrance designating whom can go into which one based on gender...OFFENSIVE!
