Looking for some help on a 2009 Cushman/Jacobsen model 84056 fuel pumping issues.
The only way we can get the fuel pump to pump fuel is by putting a boost to the battery and then it will start.
New fuel pump and filter replaced. Without charger on we are getting 12.4 volts to pump and instrument panel shows around 12 volts. When charger is put on battery we get 14.5 volts on instrument panel and you can here pump run. We've tried to contact our local (where we bought it) distributer to get help in Iowa but never returns call.
    Looking for ideas.

A few things come to mind like the ground at the fuel pump try loosening bracket clean and retighten. Try a direct ground wire from battery to fuel pump.Next see if you can run a power wire from battery direct to fuel pump.Working backwards from there the wire from ignition switch perhaps has a break inside insulation run jumper from fuel pump to post on ignition switch. If those work a weak ignition switch possible try disconnecting all other posts than the fuel pump and see if that works .Either the the switch or something else could be drawing power away from the fuel pump. Pinched wires or wires with weak attachment to eyelet at end of the wire can cause this. From there it gets a little more difficult checking relay switches.

The relay is like a fuse in that it plugs in the line and connections can get corroded. Unplug it clean connections and plug back in. Some vehicles have more than one relay of the same value or part number and can be switched to test.Voltage in and voltage out can be tested just a little bit harder to do.

After reading marks suggestions on the relays we were able to diagnose that 2 relays were bad. Thanks Mark.
Also after 2 weeks we got a call back from the equipment vendor.
Give me a call Joe and I can give you the details on this. And by the way~
Your annoying neighbor at the parks(soccer fields) has my number. Please keep making his life miserable so he'll retire and and take of the farm. He's been awful grouchy lately.
