With the stroke of a pen from Jerry Moonbeam Brown, California will soon become the home of optional use restrooms. Yes, transsexual kids will now be able to choose the bathroom of their liking. How soon before every wise guy young boy decides he is transsexual for the day and uses the girls bathroom? Yes folks, this is progress California style, coming to your area soon!

Well, at least it gives you something else to mad at Democrats about.

Steve, we are a complete one party state. Republicans are in such a minority they can't stop anything. We are fully owned by unions and other special interest groups. California is a larger version of Detroit financially and who goes into what bathroom is a bigger concern by our politicians. I wouldn't wish California's fate on any state!

Some balance is always good. It's never wise to leave one party in charge of everything, Florida entirely ruled by the Republicans and though you might think that would be a good thing, they are just as stupid as the Democrats and make rediculous decisions based entirely on their political philosophies regardless of whether actual citizens get hurt in the process.

    Regards,

    Steve

Florida is a purple state and leaning more towards blue. The conservatives are upsetting the Cubans (finally) and even the country folks are beginning to see the fallacy of the right wing. Don't forget that Bob Graham, a Democrat could not lose an election here if he tried.

Bob Graham if I remember was still getting elected when I thought more of the state was Democrat. In 1978 when I first registered to vote in Florida, (just turned 18), I had registered Republican.......(I'll wait for those that know me to get back off the floor), it had something to do with Nixon ending the war in Viet Nam and since dad had been in Viet Nam in 68-69, I thought that was the party to support. When there was a hard fought election for county Sheiff and the father of high school friends were running, (and not because his daughter was cute and in band, well maybe since I was 18) I couldn't vote in the primary for him as he and the incumbent were on the democratic ticket, actually missed a lot of primary votes until I switched parties in the early 80's.

I do think Bob Graham would have made a great president back in 2000, was smart enough to vote against Iraq, and I think he was one of only 2 that voted against Afganistain. He was the best Gov. I remember down there.

(and spell check still does not work, is it me?)

Yes I did, we even went away to band camp, St. Leo's college to be exact.

Our son starts band camp next week, the only place they go is the K-Mart next to the school for their snacks.
