Algae Green Cancel The title field is required!

   I have used Algae Green on my greens, tees and fairways last season. I think it is a good product and I will continue to use it this year. I have read most, if not all, the literature that they have for promoting this product. I have heard claims that A.G. helps with thatch reduction. That is one of the reasons that I considered using it. My question is, has anyone seen any documentation that this product reduces thatch or has had personal experience with thatch reduction from using it? What rates and frequencies are people using. I have been using the recommended rates so far. Thanks.

   I have been using it for 5 years now, i mainly use it to battle heat stress and soil conditioning. I do not use it for thatch control, if it does help with that I have not seen it per se. I use it on greens at 1 gallon per acre monthly and the same for tees, fairways is about .5-1 gallon an acre monthly. I will continue to use it as I have always had great results, service from Declan in Ireland and the team at Sierra Pacific.
   
   We are on Bermudagrass here but I have used it on Bent as well.
