Hey just thought I would reach out and see if anyone else is having the same issue with a 2500b or another brand tri plex. The issue that we are having is it seems like we have to add a quart of hydraulic almost every other day if not every day. There are no leaks of hydraulic oil underneath the machine all of the other fluids are correct level. Is this normal for this machine?

We have encountered a similar situation with our 2500Es. I presume they have similar hydraulic reservoirs. This situation only occurred when they were new and after fluid/filter changes. The problem ceases after 2-3 days of oil expansion/contraction. We have been told that due to the design of the main tank and expansion tank, it takes a few days to "burp" the air pocket from the main tank. We just keep topping off until things stabilize. There is a hex plug on the top of the main tank. I reckon maybe one could fill the main tank through it and then bring the expansion tank to the proper level afterwards as a different approach. Hope this helps.
