   Gentlemen,
   
   I've been working abroad since 1990, and I know since then the U.S. industry has moved on without me. Working in Europe, I'm sure we are 5-10 years behind the U.S. in greenkeeping methods and technology. The GIS doesn't offer what I need, it's too commercial and confusing with all the suppliers and their competing claims.
   
   What I have in mind is to make a tour of several courses in the U.S. in order to view the operations and pick the brains of the superintendents. To this end, I will be in the northeast U.S., between Connecticut and Maryland, around November 12-23.
   
   Ideally, the facilities I visit would be private clubs, possibly multi-course, so as to more closely correspond to my own situation here.
