Is anyone else having the same problem I'm having? I've tried almost everything, but I'm not having much luck. Xonerate, didn't work. Tranxit, didn't work. Revolver, didn't work. I've experimented with very small rates of Specticle, and have cleaned them up a great deal, but there are still a few greens that have a large population (20 - 30%). I'm hesitantly thinking about using Kerb on the few bad ones to clean them up before the plants get clumpy and flowering out. Any other thought's or suggestions?

Where are you located? When did you apply those products?

Coastal SC. I used the Xonerate a couple years ago along with the Tranxit. Neither had any affect. Last year I tried Revolver without much affect, but it did get cold not long after I used it. This season it's much warmer and I applied Revolver back in early December when I first started seeing poa. I went out again with Revolver in early January. Neither application even yellowed out any of the poa. Obviously resistant to Revolver. Some greens are Poa free some have a few patches and a few are pretty well loaded.

Kerb is touchy. Search for old posts about it. I have done it. For greens that only have a few plants, I would advise hand removal with small scissors. I used split apps and low rates. WATCH YOUR OVERLAPS if you use kerb

What rates were you using? I don't doubt you could have SU resistant poa, but this time of year, even in Arizona will require 30+ days for much of anything to happen and about 45-60 days for control. We go middle of the road to just above that rate with about .05 lb N from urea to encourage the poa to uptake the spray.

I took over a course three years ago that was infested with Poa wall to wall. The Superintendent before me had limited funds to treat the entire course back then. However, he was consistently experimenting with different product on the greens with no success (monument, Revolver and Pre-San). My first year, I was told that we couldn't afford to have another year of Poa infested greens. The First year I sprayed 40oz/A of Kerb the week of Thanksgiving and then another 40oz/A in Mid January. That year we had minimal Poa breakthrough in early January and the mid Jan application smoked it. Green got a little dicey where there was apparent overlap but bounce back once they came out of dormancy. The second year we applied Kerb at 40oz/A but split the application 20/20 three days apart and sprayed in two different directs. We had little to no damage and had no need for a second application in January. This year we sprayed Kerb at 20oz/A the week of thanksgiving then a second application 3 week later in opposite directions. We haven't seen any kerb damage and no Poa thus far.
This is on non overseed Tifdwarf greens in central Texas. We also started spraying Specticle on fairways, tees and rough my first year so there was no outside Poa pressure.

Thanks Justin. I just ordered some Kerb and I think I'm going to hit the needed greens at 32 oz/acre rate. Just a little concerned because of the mild winter, we are not totally dormant yet and I doubt we are going to be.

I have Champion in Mid GA. I had 2 greens that were severely infested. I went out 1/12 with 3oz/a of Tribute Total. Completely smoked the Poa. Yellow in 3 days and dead in 10. We had 11 straight days 72-75 degrees and that no doubt helped, but I had sprayed with just Revolver 3 times prior with 0 results. Since my app, I had a lot of greenup, so I am not expecting any damage or slow green up to the Bermuda.
